Application Virtualization EngineerLocation: San Jose, California
Wyse is currently looking for an Application Virtualization Engineer (Windows) position for our R&D department at our corporate headquarters. This position will work with the core team developing and evolving Hard-disk and FileSystem virtualization technologies.
Requirements
- Expertise in Windows systems software development
- Excellent C/C++ programming skills in a Windows environment MFC, COM, Windows APIs
- Registry, file-system, windows services
- Multi-threading, inter-process communication
- Network programming: sockets, WinInet
- Client-server programming
- Active Directory
- Windows Authentication, security, user profiles
- Strong debugging skills, incl. remote debuggers
- Experience with one or more of the following would be a plus
- ODBC / database programming
- Registry / file-system / API hooks
- Invoking kernel or driver level API’s
- MSI, Installshield
- Excellent communication skills
- Fast learner, capable of working independently
