Application Virtualization Engineer (Windows Kernel)Location: San Jose, California
Wyse is currently looking for an Application Virtualization Engineer (Windows Kernel) position for our R&D department at our corporate headquarters. This person will be a Member of the core development team developing and evolving Application Virtualization technologies. Responsible for the design and development of virtual file system drivers and application streaming components that enable instantaneous provisioning of Windows applications to PC’s on a network.
Requirements
- Expertise in Windows systems software development:
- C/C++, Windows IFS, PSDK
- Windows file systems, filter drivers, registry/API hooks
- Kernel-level programming and debugging
- Windows services
- Remote debugging, analyzing crash dumps
- Multi-threading,
- inter-process communication
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Remote debuggers, Windbg
- Network tracing, analysis
- Experience with one or more of the following would be a plus
- ODBC / database programming
- Windows authentication, Active Directory
- MSI / Application packaging and installation design
- Sockets programming, client-server communications
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with off-shore development teams
