Wyse Technology, the global leader in cloud client computing, today announced that President and CEO, Tarkan Maner, has been named the 2011 Outstanding Alumnus at Dillard College of Business Administration at Midwestern State University.  Mr. Maner will be honored at a luncheon, provide a keynote lecture on mobility and the cloud, and be a guest lecturer in two classes on March 21, 2012 as part of the business school’s Executive in Residence series at the Texas university.

Mr. Maner received his MBA from the Dillard College of Business Administration.  On March 21st, he will be a guest lecturer at two business school classes: an undergraduate course on human resources perspectives, and a graduate seminar on business policy.  His keynote lecture entitled “Going Social, Mobile, Cloud and Global: Leadership, Innovation and Execution in a Fast-Changing World” will highlight how cloud computing and mobility are the driving forces for IT to enhance economic growth. Mr. Maner has traveled the globe evangelizing the numerous benefits of the cloud and warning of its pitfalls - in a personal, private, public or government cloud setting.  Mr. Maner shared this vision at the World Economic Forum 2012 in Davos and will bring his insights to the students at Midwestern State University.
