Wyse Technology, the global leader in cloud client computing, today announced that Wyse's Vice President and General Counsel, Cheree McAlpine, was honored at the California Association of Black Lawyer’s (CABL) 25th Annual Conference & National Bar Association Region IX Meeting on Friday, April 13th, 2012 at CABL’s President’s Reception at the Hilton Garden Inn in Emeryville, CA.
CABL represents 6,000 African-American attorneys, judges, law professors and students, and has a time-honored tradition of annually paying tribute to those individuals and corporations who have distinguished themselves in the legal profession and in service to the community.
Cheree McAlpine was honored at this year’s President’s Reception along with other African American General Counsels from California companies such as Google, Pandora, AT&T Interactive, Symantec and Bank of the West. On Saturday, April 14th, CABL also hosted its Awards and Installation Gala, which honored the Honorable Willie L. Brown, Jr., and California State Attorney General, the Honorable Kamala Harris.
