Wyse Has Enhanced Windows CE .NET for Superior Service on Your Thin Client

The Windows CE .NET 4.1 upgrade allows current Winterm 3000 Series customers to easily upgrade to the latest and greatest code, while preserving the settings on their current units. Upgrades from Windows CE 2.12 or 3.0 to Windows CE .NET often requires IT staff to spend hours re-entering terminal configurations such as connection set-up, security settings, and more. The Windows CE .NET 4.1 upgrade avoids these hassles by maintaining the settings on the Winterm units.

Windows CE .NET 4.1 also offers enhanced support for wireless connectivity, greater security, manageability and a 35% performance improvement over older CE versions. Working with Windows CE devices with 16 MB of FLASH memory or higher, the 4.1 upgrade also includes ICA 6.3, offering Citrix MetaFrame Secure Access Manager (formerly NFuse Elite) and smart card support.
